Focal and DS Automobiles continue their outstanding French collaboration with the DS N°4, a high-end compact electric sedan car.

A HIGH-END SOUND

Designed as a centrepiece of in-car comfort, the Focal Electra® hi-fi system features 14 speakers powered by a 690-watt 16-channel amplifier, delivering rich, detailed and immersive sound reproduction. Focal's exclusive technologies are elegantly integrated into the interior, enhancing every journey. Speakers, amplifier, audio processing: everything has been designed for ever-greater performance and listening pleasure.

LATEST GENERATION SPEAKERS

DS N°4 embodies "augmented technology", a combination of cutting-edge technology and augmented reality.

The 14 loudspeakers integrated into the cabin are the result of exclusive Focal technologies:


  • The woofers/midrange with Polyglass membranes provide the foundations for balance and dynamic sound,
  • TNF aluminum inverted-dome tweeters deliver high frequencies with detail and precision,
  • The center channel and rear satellites immerse passengers with optimized spatialization,
  • The Power Flower triple-coil subwoofer handles bass with authority and control.


The entire system is powered by a new 16-channel, 690-watt amplifier (full active): despite low power consumption, power is on hand, dynamically controlled and available at all times.

AN IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE

The interior of DS No. 4 embodies French excellence, combining outstanding craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology. Every detail, from the Clous de Paris guilloché pattern to the fine materials such as Nappa leather and Alcantara®, reflects a quest for purity and elegance.


The acoustic integration respects the purity of the interior lines while enhancing the sensory experience for passengers. Specifically positioned, the sound stage is stable regardless of the style of music being played. Settings such as Front Optimised offer a live experience, while surrounds in the rear provide enhanced listening. The sound immersion is total.
