Focal delivers the sound experience of the Jeep® Compass, a next-generation compact SUV.

The Focal Premium Hi-Fi System features 10 loudspeakers, delivering immersive and impactful listening experiences powered by remarkable bass performance.

SOUND IMMERSION

Focal’s acoustic engineers have developed a Hi-Fi system comprising 10 loudspeakers strategically positioned throughout the cabin. Tweeters, woofers, center channel, and subwoofer: every component contributes to creating a rich and engaging soundstage.

Two dedicated listening modes further enhance the immersive experience: “All-Passengers”, a stereo mode optimized for every occupant, and “Front Optimized”, which expands the stereo image in both width and depth for front-seat passengers. The sound is enveloping, vocals are clear and detailed, and the bass is deep and powerful.

A POWERFUL SOUND SYSTEM


Known for their iconic design, Jeep® vehicles combine ruggedness, character, timeless styling cues, and sporty elegance. The Hi-Fi system reflects these same qualities, delivering a Focal signature sound that is both refined and highly dynamic. Extensive loudspeaker tuning and calibration ensure the audio system performs at its very best. While subwoofers are often located in the trunk, the Jeep® Compass features one mounted on the right rear side of the vehicle, providing impressively deep and impactful bass.

THE FOCAL PREMIUM HI-FI SYSTEM FOR THE JEEP COMPASS

Ten loudspeakers featuring exclusive Focal technologies:

 

  • Four 6-inch woofers and a 2.5-inch center channel, featuring Polyglass technology for uncompromising sonic balance and precision. The woofers incorporate powerful magnets for optimal control, long voice coils for high power handling and deep bass, and an exponential cone profile for extended frequency response. The result is faithful reproduction and explosive transients full of emotion.
  • The subwoofer, mounted on the vehicle’s right rear side panel, incorporates Power Flower technology, delivering powerful, impactful bass.
  • Four aluminum-magnesium inverted dome tweeters, a technology that ensures optimal sound dispersion and highly detailed reproduction.
  • Class D amplification, providing outstanding power efficiency, low distortion, and exceptional energy control.

 

POLYGLASS MEMBRANE

This exclusive Focal technology is used in the four 165-mm woofers/mid-range loudspeakers mounted in the vehicle doors, as well as in the center channel loudspeaker located in the middle of the dashboard.

 

By applying fine glass microspheres to a cellulose pulp cone, the Polyglass cone combines the excellent damping properties of paper with the rigidity of glass.

 

This balance of mass, rigidity, and damping results in a frequency response curve with exemplary linearity, delivering high-definition sound reproduction.

POWERFLOWER™

The system features a 20 cm Power Flower™ subwoofer mounted within the vehicle’s frame, behind the trunk side trim.


Derived from technologies developed for the Utopia loudspeakers, the Power Flower™ is the loudspeaker’s electromagnetic driver. Its exclusive design, consisting of several magnets arranged in a “flower” pattern, generates a remarkable amount of magnetic flux and stability.

The result: deep, perfectly controlled bass with exceptional consistency, even at very high volume levels.

INVERTED DOME TWEETER

The system is equipped with four aluminum inverted dome tweeters mounted in the mirror housings and rear doors.

This technology, patented by Focal for over 35 years, ensures precise and detailed reproduction of treble thanks to its omnidirectional sound dispersion.
