The Delage D12: the most beautiful car in the world

The Delage D12 GT is the closest thing to a Formula 1 road car ever built.

It has just been voted " Most Beautiful Car in the World " at the Automobiles Awards 2020/2021.

Featuring a 990 hp engine combined with a 330 hp electric motor for a staggering 1230 hp, this two-seater hybrid offers a remarkable architecture.

It follows in the footsteps of the Delage brand, which has built road cars as well as Grand Prix cars. For the ultimate in sound, the D12 features Focal's Utopia M system , designed, developed and manufactured in France.

A tailor-made audio system

The hypercar is equipped with Focal 6WM bass loudspeakers and Focal TBM tweeters, products from the Utopia M line awarded at CES 2019 in Las Vegas for their innovation and performance.

The Focal Impulse 4.320 digital amplifier brings life and power to the installation. Drawing inspiration from French architecture to shape the line, Focal engineers have designed a new "W" sandwich membrane with an "M" profile, with a unique and disruptive design.

Added to this are the advantages of TMD surround suspension, another Focal exclusive, and the progressive spider for realistic, precise and dynamic sound. Beryllium tweeters deliver breathtaking detail.

Grande Utopia and Statement in Delage Blue

The new Delage D12 takes the color of the Delage 15 S8 that won the "1927 Constructors' World Championship", the forerunner of F1, in a modernized, metallic version.

And to mark the launch of this vehicle, Focal and its English partner Naim Audio are presenting a hi-fi system comprising a pair of Grande Utopia EM Evo loudspeakers and the Statement amplifier in the colors of Delage Automobiles and the French flag- an exceptional audio system, one of the best in the world.

Presentation in Dubai

The Delage D12 and its Focal system, and Focal's Grande Utopia associated with Statement, will be presented in Dubai at a special event on December 12 and 13.
